Carol & Tyler's Wedding
June 4, 2022 • Longmont, CO
Our Story...
Although we worked together since fall 2016, it wasn't until a year later when our story began! We were always a little curious about each other, lingering in or walking by each other's departments, but since we worked together we never quite did anything about it...
...until one fated happy hour in October of 2017. And after spending a couple months chatting online but too scared to ask the other out, we finally went on our first (secret) date at Jukebox at the end of 2017. After 3 back-to-back dates, we knew we had found something special!
Over the next few years, we grew to become each other's best friends. We learned each other's hobbies - skiing, golfing, climbing - and explored our favorite metroparks and bars together. From Browns tailgating to trips out west, we bonded over a shared love for adventure, always being silly, and living a simple life. In spring of 2020, we moved that life to Colorado!
During the pandemic we lived and worked from home for the first time, in a new place, where we knew very few people, when the world was completely shut down. This crazy time helped us grow closer, learn all of each other's habits (whether we wanted to or not), and find balance. Because it wasn't crazy enough, we decided to get a new puppy... and then buy a house during one of the wildest markets! On our 3rd anniversary on a ski trip to Breckenridge, while taking a walk with the dogs in the snowy woods, Tyler proposed! And here we are today.

FAQs
What should I wear?
Cocktail or mountain chic attire! The ceremony will take place outdoors on the grass, and the reception will be indoors with easy access to the stone patio and outdoors. Keep in mind that the temps could be in the 70s or 80s during the early afternoon, but will drop down in the 50s once it gets dark.
Can I bring my kids?
This will primarily be an adults-only celebration. We respectfully request only children of our family attend.
How do I get there?
Denver is the best airport to fly into and is about an hour from Longmont. Generally speaking travel in/out should be fairly straight forward, but if you don't fly often you'll find the airport is pretty large (fun fact: Denver is the largest airport by square footage in North America!). Rental cars are all offsite and require an airport shuttle (similar to Cleveland).
Will the elevation affect me?
This is different for everyone! Some people won't feel anything, others may feel a bit of vertigo or dizziness the first day. Most will feel out of breath easier. Either way, it is very important to drink a lot of water -- more than you usually would. It is much drier here, so you may find yourself wanting more anyway. You will also feel the effects of alcohol faster and stronger than normal due to the elevation, so please keep this in mind! The elevation at the venue is about 5,000 feet.
I'm in! How do I RSVP?
Please use the link in the RSVP section above to let us know if you'll be joining us! This should take you to an online form to submit and there will be a confirmation process to let you know we've received your response. We are not currently doing mail-in RSVPs. If you run into any problems, feel free to reach out to us!
